fustrations of a newbie.........ok let me start from the beginning, 1st off morning all it's 2:29am est i downloaded the fairuse software at umm lets say 11pm entered a dvd and the scan began, went to buy some milk came back and status bar only 19 percent done. So I leave my computer only to come back to it at 1:21 am and the status bar say 4% (1st question does fairuse start over automatically once it's completed) the reason because it 2:33 and i just open and the folder to were i want the filed saved and it shows 2 entries of my movie first file looks to be my original attempt which has a file size of 79mb and the second seems to be the current 288mb and climbing . 2 question should i leave the original or erase it? and third the writing speed is going at 16 fps can i change this.

There's a fairuse tutorial in "my pda". A 1.5 hour movie may take double that amount of time to convert. It's a slow process no matter how you choose to do it. Fairuse is free, easy and as quick as any method. It also lets you decide how large the output file will be. All your other questions are answered in the turorial.
