Firstly, great site. Been *very* useful. Thanks!

Been a loyal OCN user from the beginning.
Upgraded to OCN5.
Followed their install suggestions, i.e. install to BIS.
I think they also say install to main memory? (in some places). The program needs that to be able to run though...so that doesn't make sense.

The missus was having problems with her PDA.
Asked me to do a re-install of the apps, make it all tidy etc.
Looked around on here and found some discussion on SD/CF/BIS (decreasing order of memory speed).
Thought I would try installing to the CF card instead.
It's a high speed card, after all.
The difference is *Night* and *Day* in terms of loading and performance.
I have no idea why they recommend installing to the slowest memory.
It really cramps the style of the app.
I have emailed them to let them know my experience.
Thought I would post here as I am probably not the only one who needs this info.
Hopefully this has not already been covered (I couldn't find it).

We both have Dell Axim X50v. Which I also upgraded the ROM on (A01>A03>A05).
Love 'em.

p.s. If I have just been an idiot and not understood, that's fair enough. However, they do say specifically "we do not recommend installing to CF/SD" and this clearly is the place to install to, from our experience.
