While the Pocket PC is in the cradle and connected couldn't we use the antivirus software from our PC's to search the Pocket PC? Since a user can tell the program what drive to scan, couldn't we just choose the "Mobile Device" drive?
If it would work, it would help save RAM, Storage Space, etc...

Wow, a 4 year old thread revival!
But, the reason you don't use a Desktop PC's antivirus scan is the same reason you don't prescribe antibiotics for someone's chest cold; they're completely different beasts, and a virus that works on a PC wouldn't affect a Pocket PC any more than a virus that infects fish would normally affect a human. You could scan for desktop PC viruses which may be harbored on a file... but you wouldn't catch something that'd kill a Pocket PC.
