If you are willing to work on the registry, there may be a work-around to getting old apps onto WM5/WM6 devices.

Omnisoft has a shoe-horn method of getting eVB onto Smartphone 2002/2003/WMv5/WMv6 devices (OMNISOFT: Developing Windows Mobile Smartphone Software Applications with Embedded Visual Basic (eVB)). Good luck!
