Ah, I see, I thought you meant MS could ship a driver for the Axim; not for XP.

I have seen 1 or 2 devices that were not officially SDHC that can (suppsoedly) read/write to SDHC cards, I am not a hardware tech so I dont know the differences, it might be so subtle that the newest of nonSDHC hardware can read/write to them with a loss of some features/speed.

I'm shopping for an 8gb SDHC, as I said, and when I get it I will post benchmarks on both axim and card-reader (since 99% of the SDHC cards on eBay come with a USB reader for some reason) though I wonder would the stats be skewed with USB 2.0 vs the Axim interface (purely core hardware speed - not card slot)
