Cool then.

I've seen that message myself occasionally, but disconnecting, reconnecting usually fixed it. (I've always cancelled the troubleshooter since it is seldom more useful than "check the cable")

have you done a soft reset and tried to sync?
have you installed any software on the PPC recently?
have you moved the dock to a use USB port?
have you rebooted the computer? (I know 2 pcs, but never hurts)

Worst case, would you be opposed to doing a hard reset after backing up any recessary data to the mem card?
