They are definitely worth the money over the long term. memmaid, in my opinion is much less agressive, but it is also safer, although sktools always offers you an option of backing up up prior to making a change. However, beware, the option is located on the menu, it doesn't pop-up to remind you.
I have both and use them regularly.
