Try undocking the unit then check Start-->Settings-->USB to PC and try unchecking "enable advanced network functionality" and see if this eliminates the problem. If you want to be able to use your PC's network connectivity while docked, check to make sure that the Axim's IP address 169.254.x.x isn't being blocked by any firewall programs and that your system is actually assigning such an IP address to the Axim. You can check this by dropping to a command prompt, entering "ipconfig /all" and seeing if the 169.254.x.x is assigned to the Axim.
