There is an element of familiarity that factors in to messages posted here. I dunno about anyone else but I have more of a tendency to give credence to an opinion expressed by someone I've seen on the board for a while than I do to someone who comes on here and voices a strong opinion about something when they've posted 1 message. Does that make sense?

That makes perfect sense. If we follow your recommendations do we become forum xenophobic? We shouldn't take for granted that members know any better than non members and I think the extra input would be valuable, considering it is always subject to moderation. I have been pushing for an open input at another site I'm involved in, it's like advertising for passing trade. Some of the passers by become valued customers. I like the Idea of giving it a go:approve:
