So I edited the Duke3d.cfg. (Why is there 2 of them btw? Duke3d.cfg and DUKE3D.cfg.txt)

The .cfg.txt was a result of editing the .cfg file with Winodw's Notepad, which adds the file extension .txt to whatever file you open and save.
Just rename it to the .cfg version.
