same problem
Mark,
I had a similar, if not the same problem. My problem was that I had the Axim set to turn off after three minutes of inactivity (in Power Settings) and once it turned off, it would not turn on without a soft reset. Also, at times, if I manually turned off the Axim, it would not turn back on unless I did a soft reset. I researched this on the Internet and there was advice about the SD card possibly causing the problem, ActiveSync possibly causing the problem, etc. After ruling all that out, I did a hard reset of the Axim and that seems to have fixed the problem. I've been running for a couple of days now. To do a hard reset, press and hold the power button, then simultaneously press the reset button and hold it for several seconds. A hard reset restored the Axim to its original state. All your data will be erased, and any software you downloaded to it will also need to be reinstalled. Hope this helps you.
