I just spoke to an AT&T Business sales rep who tried to get me to sign up for the data plan. His pitch was that the 8925 does not have "open" wifi, meaning that it can't simply access a wifi signal from my home wireless router. He claimed it is restrcted to pay per use or the AT&T data plan. Does anyone know if this is true or is it just a sales rep gone wild? Have you been able to hop on to any wirless signal or just the paid access?

False, WiFI is free for as long as you want it... Call back and get another rep with a brain!
The data plan is where they make some serious cash. I get gouged 40 bucks a month and then will have to pay extra to connect my laptop to it. (laptop connect plan for 10 bucks more.)
