You do NOT need to set up an external gps... That is MS WM6 add on to the ROM. Your device has it built in and the hardware DOES NOT have any configuration. All you need to do is open up an application, try google maps, and it menu track location...
I'm not usre with third party software like Vito, you may want to email them, but I can assure you google, Live search both work great with no configuration...
