how to completely uninstall active print

Use a registry editor or get the startup control panel applet from Mike Lin's Home Page.

I've forgotten where the startup is located exactly, but you will find
a startup entry path of c:/Documents and Settings/<user>/Local Settings/Apps/2.0/..... and if you look there you will see a bunch of stuff
about active print. On my system, the Apps folder only contained active
print stuff, so I deleted the entire Apps folder.

Then, using the startup control panel applet, I disabled the startup
entry, right-clicked and deleted it, went to the "deleted" tab and
right-clicked and deleted it again.

Active print is now gone.

[Perhaps it is an OK app, but they did not reply to my email questions and
I could not print a web page which is what I was looking to try to do]
