I apologize for not being more clear; I want to buy an 8gb sd card for use in the AXIM so I can use the CF slot for a GPS instead of the 8GB CF card I have in it now, but when I try entering 8gb to search on I can't get any results, so I thought it best to ask the general question whether there might be any reason to not try an 8GB card (perhaps due to architecture), and if not, I intend to buy a: Pny P-Sdhc8G4-Rf3 Class 4 High-Capacity Secure Digital Card (8 Gb) over at the South American River (trying not to advertise Amazon) site along with a Holux GR-271 GPS receiver...
