I admire some of the things that CPP does but for alot of us here its easy to write 'bling' software... the key is to write code in a manner that is the least resources intensive as possible (as well as making the 'core' non- OS specific). This is why we have our own micro sized ANSI C language we call "Core-C". It takes writing small fast code to a new level and why the CorePlayer platform and the embedded decoders work as fast as they do.
