All you need a data/internet connection for is quick gps. This will only help your gps software aquire satellite positions quicker. You do not need a data connection to use the GPS. I tested this with the Data turned off and Google worked great. I tend to like WLS a little better though. Be sure to have your thirty day trial of AT&T TeleNav Turned off. They charge 5.99 for ten trips a month and 9.99 for unlimited use. My TeleNav software was removed with the Bloatware fix... I also verified that I do not have TeleNav turned on with a CS person.
I'm hoping to get TomTom6 Soon and will be testing on TiltSite.com!
