I couldn't agree more with the lack of a speaker and the bluetooth but i just don't agree on the storage capacity thing being a problem.Afterall it won't be long before flash memory hits those gigs.So i'd say that despite that 8/16 of memory is surely enough not so great of a storage capacity, that shouldn't drive you to buying an ipod classic.Ipod classic being a hard drive based system has serious lag issues when it comes to flying around the menus. And i mean to the point where it's not even funny.New ipod classic will not support your accessories [such as the cable which linked it to your tv] not due to software issues, which could be fixed through a simple update via itunes, but due to HARDWARE issues.I've heard people not being able to load games they had bought for their previous ipod to their new ipod classic.Sure they are cheap [4.99$ or sm like that] but this adds up and it eventually sucks having to go and buy a product again.
The future is within flash memory and, imo, ipod classic and in general any hard drive based portable device will become the extrageeky thing that will not be the primary product of a company and it will be used for any other reason except the one it was made for....listening to music and watching videos.160 hard drive gigs???Come on.I know people that bought it to use it as an external drive and simply have the 8gig nano to listen to music and watch videos.

On the other hand, the ipod touch could have some buttons for volume so that you wouldn't have to pull it out every time you wanna adjust the volume. But the greatness of the thing is on it's software. When it was released it had some serious problems with the screen.Poor video quality to the point when watching a dark scene on a video it'd look like it had that negativ effect.Guess what? They fixed that through the first firmware update,so anyone with that problem didn't have to actually give away his device to have it fixed. They simply plugged it in and itunes did the rest.

Once again i feel i have to say that this is just my opinion and i'd extremelly happy to listen to your opinions.Too long of a reply i know but it felt like it's worth it.
