Don't misunderstand me; what you say is what I would have expected. However, as a matter of historical
fact, when I entered my email address on the WebIS Pocket Informant 8 Upgrade web page, it advised me that I was eligible for the upgrade for free. Thinking that the web page would correct itself if I selected the upgrade link, it went ahead and provided me with the Registration code for version 8.
Maybe that's true only for me, but I doubt it.
Perhaps someone should advise Alex/WebIS that there is an error on their web page. I certainly don't want to cheat the developers of such a fine piece of software.
