I have about 35 x50/x50v backup batteries to give out free.

If you think your backup battery is dead......or dying....feel free to get in touch with me, and I'll be happy to send you one if you send me a S.A.S.E.

They are all pretty new (less than a year old).

Since they are not "new", I don't want to sell them on ebay like my PDA units listed. These didn't cost us anything, so I feel good about offering them to people who need one and can't find one easily (I only saw 2 on ebay....maybe I don't know what to look for)

Replacing a battery is not hard at all. You can find a video I posted earlier about how to take apart the axim unit and put it back together. One thing I didn't specify in the video is that it's easier to unplug the backup battery from it's connector using tweezer nose plyers, rather than your fingers. Similarly, use the same plyers to reconnect the backup battery plug to it's connector on the motherboard - perhaps placing a SMALL DAB of superglue or something like Testors modeler plastic glue on the white landing strip for the battery on the motherboard. There is no circuitry there, so you won't damage anything.

Anyway, enough rant. If you need a battery, they are here. See the photo. It may be more than 35. I didn't drink enough coffee yet to count accurately.
