I read so many other threads of people using an SDHC 8 GB card and being able to use it successfully. I guess after reading the threads in this forum they probably didn’t load more than 4 GB of data on their SDHC 8 GB card. If they do, what I understand so far is that they can see all the files in the region between 4-8 GB, but if they actually tried to play/access them, they would not – is that correct?

This driver allows an SDHC card whether 4, 8 or 16 GB to be inserted into your Axim X51v A012 ROM (which is what I own) and have the full capacity of the card loaded with files directly from your PC, but you could only access the first 4 GB of data – is that correct?

If using ActiveSync, you would only be able to sync 4 GB of data files over to the Axim X51v, then you would not be able to sync any other files over the 4 GB limit. Files have to be copied to the SDHC card via a card reader on the PC if greater than 4 GB of data is to be loaded on to the card – is that correct?

If I want to increase my storage capacity on my Axim X51v, the best way of insuring I can access and play all data files on the storage cards would be to install an SD or SDHC card greater than 4 GB and add a CF Compact Flash card of say 8 GB or 16 GB and then both cards would show all the files and be able to access all the files on the cards directly from the Axim – is that correct?

I’m amazed on how many state that they installed an SDHC 8 GB card and it works great, giving the impression that 8 GB works flawlessly, when in reality the SDHC card really is not completely functional since you can’t access all the files on the card. Please elaborate on these questions above in case I’m missing something that I don’t understand.

Thanks!
