You have helped me before mate.

I read what you say. This is what i did now:
1. Bridge the LAN adapter with the wireless one
2. disabled windows firewall
3. restart
4. start a new connection on wixp FIRST (right click on wireless adapter-->connect...)
5. turn on wifi on ppc (it asked on what network to connect)

With these series of actions, i do NOT lose my winxp internet connection.
What i did differently previously, was to make connection settings on the ppc FIRST, then tried to connect from winxp.

I still do not see my shared folder nor connect to internet from ppc via wifi, though in Wireless LAN settings in ppc, it says "associated to network"

Any ideas?
