He claims he didn't know (which you have confirmed is probably a lie) and has asked me to remove the 'negative' and return the card which I have refused to do. I am also short of a Samsung '4gb' Flash USB2 memory stick which was purchased at the same time from the same guy. I doubt now I'll ever see that or the refund without a serious fight. He's now getting quite nasty but I am standing my ground and have escalated it with Ebay. Yet this is the first time I have been scammed with memory of any description on Ebay so I can say my latest deal isn't typical.
My dealer was "Lovegift". I too escalated this with eBay, or PayPal. I received long emails from eBay claiming they took it very seriously. But they told me I had to report it with Paypal. I told PayPal that I was willing to send the card to a third party, but not to return it to the seller. But after a few days PayPal told me that the case had been resolved in my favour, and that I could have a refund. BUT, I had to send back the card to the seller. And I had the pay for it, and it had to be a trackable shipment. That would cost approximately the same as what I had payed for the card. The only action I could take was to enter a trackingnumber. I didn't care to do that. I have written a couple of mails to PayPal asking why I have to return it to the fraudulent seller when he most likely just will sell it to another unfortunate buyer. They haven't answered that. The seller is still in business.
