Holy crap, I just found the ultimate solution, which I hope others who don't know about can enjoy.
FlashVideoBundle - grab it from this guy's app folder - it's the latest version. I had downloaded another version from another site but it was older and gave me errors.
Go here: Index of /apps

Just install the cab file wherever you have TCPMP installed (either sd or cf card, or device)and do a soft-reset afterwards.
Then using PIE (unfortunately) go to youtube.com and tap on a video, you'll get choices to either 'Play Video' or 'Save Video' or 'Linked Page' . Select Play Video and TCPMP will stream automatically, and beautifully, I should add.
