Engineers, scientists, where are you?

Hello everyone,

I am a chemical engineering graduation student and just got a Axim X51v that I intend to use on class and everywhere else.

First of all, it should be a substitute for my old HP 28S graphic calculator. So I've searched everywhere and found 3 softwares that appear to help me:
  • Math Tablet: powerfull RPN calculator with a nice stack, graphing resources and also scripts.
  • Space Time: Looks very powerfull, can handle indefinite integration and others advanced resources. Does beautyfull 2-D and 3-D ploting and also have scripting.
  • SMath Studio: Looks very powerfull too, more like a mathcad or something. But the documentation is very poor and I haven't used it yet.

Also, I would like softwares with databases of materials, properties tables (and perhaps a special periodic table?), unit conversors and any other thing that you think that could help. One thing I would really like is a software that give me the friction factor, from Reynold number and rugosity, so I'll don't need to pick up Moody's diagram anymore. :)

So, I would like to know what are you using and what is your impression using a PDA for scientific activities.

Thanks!
