Spud-ster!!!

That was it.... I was sure I had seen that thread before - used it when the same thing happened to me on an X5.

I'm concerned about what Menneisyys calls "lengthy filesys.exe compactions" - off the top of your head, do you know what the symptoms of this would be?

I'm assuming slowed processing time...

Reason I ask: All sorts of undesirables have begun happening.....
1) Clock has reset itself to 12:00am
2) Unit is running reaaaal slow at times
3) Power is being consumed at an abnormally increased rate
4) A number of programs mistakenly flash notifications that my "trial period has expired" when I know they are bought and paid for. I chalk this up to something with the clock reset registering a time and date that would cause notifications. It seems to go away after setting the correct time and date.... But I don't know why it did it in the first place?
5) SD Card2 has returned even after applying the fix suggested by Speedy and Menneisyys, removing outlook.lnk from the Startup folder and Today screen plug-in. BTW, it remains "removed" from both locations and all this still began happening at the same time...

I noticed in tdLaunch under options, a choice of processor speeds that I have never used before which was set by default on 100/50MHz, checked what mine was operating at and it turned out to be 104MHz. Tried selecting all the options allowed, up to 400/200MHz but the SD Card is still not recognized upon start up (and SD Card & SD Card2 reappear).

So if it isn't a fixable thing of either increasing speed to recognize the SD Card at start-up or eliminating the program "call" or data recognition needed from the SD Card upon boot, I don't know what to pursue. I am at a bit of a loss as to where to go from here.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks!
