Dell really screwed up when they bought into that design for the cradle. I mean, don't they know that people are going to connect and disconnect many times per week? Such an accessory deserves better engineering in my opinion.

I have trashed so many cradles, it's not even funny.

Anyway, I think your best bet is a travel charger that allows you to sync via a plug - rather than a cradle.

Or, buy a bluetooth adapter for your PC. That would almost be a better investment since it would have multiple uses.
