I must soft reset about 8-10 times/week (espececially when I change batteries). In fact, I suspect so many soft resets do more harm than good. The first sign of trouble is when the alarms start screwing up. after that, it's just a matter of time (before I need to perform another hard reset). No memory loss that I can tell. However, oftentimes, when I soft reset, the dumb clock reverts to 1 July 2005, 0000 hrs, and I must reset it. (I suspect this problem is due to the Daylight Savings Time patch working improperly). So many issues! So annoying! (Anybody wanna buy a used Axim?)
