I was disappointed when I read that this site wouldn't allow discussion of the WM6.1 ROM's. I've been using the 'hacked' ROM's since Football's A17, basically following it from the beginning. To reply to hofshi, there's always been plenty of support, just not here. I've lost count of how many times I've flashed my X51v to upgrade to new versions, and I've never had a problem with it. If I did have any trouble, I know off the top of my head four forums where I could probably find my questions already answered.

Morally, I see it as at worst a light grey area; as srvctec pointed out, as there's no way to buy WM6.1 for my Axim, and Dell could/should have offered it as a free upgrade, anyway. We may as well have it.

Maybe a year or two from now I'll upgrade to a device that has (a licensed copy of) WM6.1 or 7 on it.

Ironically, I have a legal copy of Windows Vista sitting in my desk that I still haven't used to replace my trusty XP (and I have 2GB RAM, an overclocked X2 4200+, and an 8800GTS (also overclocked when I need it to be)).
