Some people will never be happy no matter what you do. I personally applaud you for having the courage to revisit something with your staff and change your mind. You will get holier than thou and conspiracy theory types, but that should quit after a while.
Personally I always though it was bad business practice to go after modders. In general most people buy devices and like to play around with them. If they do things that are not harmful and enhance the device who cares? Sony, Apple, and Microsoft both spend lots of time trying to stop people from modding their devices. The iBrick fiasco was nothing, but bad P.R. for Apple. Dell doesn't support WM6 and leaves us in the learch with a half functional version of WM5. Somebody takes their time and makes a better version than Dell and this is bad? Most on here would love to pay for a WM6 upgrade, but can't. So they find other ways.
