I think your 'step 2' is included in 1 and 3 (that is, telling the adapter to use the LAN's access creates the bridge).
If the PC is set up the same as before, the backup might work but I would create a new backup (with a different name) in case you want to go back to the current setting.

Ikehiker, every single day i try to make this work.
I bridge the LAN and WIFI adapter. Now the have one IP, right?
When i make this IP specific 192.168.2.x, i lose my internet connection.
Then i make it 192.168.1.4 and frm the settings of the PPC i make its IP 192.168.1.8
THEN FOR THE FIRST TIME i can see my PC shared folders from my PPC.
AND the internet connection is working on the PC.
BUT on my PPC when i try to connect to Internet, it says "The page cannot be found. Check the name and try again."
Any ideas to configure right the IP's?
Is it possible that i have IP conflicts, so that i cannot connect to Internet through my PPC?
