I haven't disassembled my X51v at all. Why do you think I removed the top cover? I'm guessing that the lines might be caused by some residue or a loose connector or something like that..

Anyways, I decided to buy a replacement screen off ebay for about $60. It seems to be the exact same one they use on PPC Techs and other repair sites. It comes with the LCD, touchscreen, screwdrivers and removal tools, plus my parents mailed their Torx driver to me, since I can't find the right size here in South Korea. Does anyone have any advice for replacing the screen, ie how to do it? I have a video showing how to disassemble it, but I'd still like some advice.
