I am running LennySH's WM6.1 ROM, and I am loving it!
I tried previous WM versions from Football and Makuu, and enjoyed them greatly. As is inferred from the review, I found the Axim X51v to be extremely receptive to upgrading the OS. The only problem I have encountered is that some programs never quite worked right. (Virtual Earth, Google Maps, and a few others)
LennySH's WM 6.1 implementation has been able to run these programs w/o any problem. I have also run a 4GB SDHC card w/o flaw.
Makuu's WM 6.0 Rom worked with a 8GB SDHC card I have access to, but LennySH's won't properly recognize it.
My GPS apps also work better on the LennySH WM 6.1 ROM. They opperate the same as they did on the Dell released A12 WM 5.0 ROM.
Like most everyone has warned, using a non-approved ROM can "brick" your device, so proceed with caution my friends. As for me, I'll keep trying the latest and greatest our user community has to offer!
