I watched this video, and finally received a T5 screwdriver bit in the mail. The guy who sold the new screen on Ebay sent a T6, which is one size too large for disassembling my X51v. However, I checked the screen against the one in my unit, and the part numbers are the same, so it seems good. There is, unfortunately, quite a bit of dust on the new screen, but it has two screen protectors on it, so it should be ok.

I took it apart earlier today, just for a trial, and it wasn't very difficult. I'll wait to install the new LCD+touchscreen until I have a few consecutive hours of free time.
