Aximsite Domain - Update
Hello everyone. As you all know, there is a slow progress of mixing Aximsite and Mobilitysite into one for the most part. The Aximsite.com domain is NOT going away, but as of today, the forums will reside on Mobilitysite.com's domain. The front page of Aximsite will remain and I am working on a way to keep it more up to date as well.

The 1st issue and one that will be a thorn for some people is the cookie. The cookie for aximsite is not going to work at mobilitysite now so you will most likely be logged off unless you were already signed into the mobilitysite version of the forums.

To fix this, simply log in again. If you allow cookies to be set and remember your password, then you should remain logged in from here on out on the mobilitysite domain.

If something happens and you have issues with this, don't hesitate to contact me directly at chris(at)Mobilitysite.com.

There are several reasons I made the choice to move the forums exclusively to Mobilitysite now, here they are:
  1. When I decided to merge the forums, i forgot about a few issues. One of them was that Google does not like duplicate content. Having two version of the forum made just that. Choosing a domain to host a single copy of the merged forums should help get us back in Google's graces and get more people here again.
  2. I have additions to the site that I want to make, but with 2 copies of the software and 2 domains, this is not possible. Choosing one domain allows me to bring these items in. I want to bring our photo gallery back
  3. The cookie issues from users that get sent back and forth from one domain to another due to hard coded links will be avoided.
Why did I choose Mobilitysite?
I chose it because I believe that it is the future. I love and respect aximsite and never plan to let the domain go, but I do think for growth and future potential, we need to move towards mobilitysite.

I welcome any comments or concerns, but I am pretty confident that this choice will be the best for the longevity of the sites.

Aximsite content is going nowhere and as a side project, I plan an Axim Wiki at wiki.aximsite.com soon too.

The forums will be the same.

We are all still here and all the old links to aximsite thread and posts will auto redirect to it's version on Mobilitysite.

Thanks for the understanding here.
