Great review, but too harsh on x51v, and e830

Excellent review, thank you. I do enjoy the 210, and agree with most points you mentioned about the 210 in your review. The screen sensitivity, lack of CPU speed setting, and lack of VGA out are the major disappointments I have with the 210.

I don't use the devices outdoors much, so direct sunlight viewing is not important for me.

I use my Dell Axim x51v, and Toshiba e830 regularly. Both devices still work well, and the Toshiba e830 is definitely my favorite VGA resolution device. I have not experienced the same screen issues you had with the x51v, and e830. The colors may not be quite as stunning as the 210, but the x51v's, and e830's screens are fine for me. I am still impressed by how well text displays on the e830 with ClearType enabled. Both the Dell, and Toshiba offer VGA out options which allow mirroring your device, or PowerPoint presentation directly to a video projector. I frequently present at the local PDA/mobile user group, and it is nice to use a PDA to show the presentation rather than a laptop. I also like the e830's, and x51v's ability to keep CPU speed at maximum level which results in a much snappier machine.

Eventually, the Toshiba e830 will break from old age, or I might find a critical application which will not run on WM2003SE. Until that time, the Toshiba e830 remains on the night stand in my bedroom. When either one of those events occurs, the Toshiba e830 will be replaced by the HP210.
