Go to Start > Settings > System (tab) > Power (icon)
My settings are:
- Advanced Tab - On battery power: Turn off device if not used for (3 minutes) is checked. The "on external power option" is unchecked.
- Power On Tab - both options checked
- Processor Tab - set to Auto
