Why do you need to do the fake server trick each time you change the battery? The changes should be persistent as they are stored in the flash.

I've been checking this out further, activesync does start immediately after fitting the new battery but the settings have not been reset from manual as I left the fake server on to check the settings. So after stopping activesync it does not restart again automatically. Thanks again for this wonderful utility.
I agree that this thread should be made sticky, it beats opening up my axim!
