It seems to depend on the video... JC Hutchins 7th son Obsidian podcast has videos that play fine (using Coreplayer)

On the other hand the TMBG video podcast for kids is really slow an horrible....
XDA is a useful site, but it's very techie and they seem to object if a question is asked more than once... It seems to be the culture of the site, I lurk but don't post there. They've got an awesome amount of information but we're a much friendlier bunch over here
