Well, with MUCH TREPIDATION, I decided to install Fottball's A07 ROM.
Although I want speed, I need stability, and I hate "crapware".
The great thing about football's ROM is that it looks VERY similar to Dell's A12 ROM, with virtually the same programs - so it was easy to get to know the new OS.
In terms of speed, I do find it faster than WM5; more for some programs, less of a difference for others.
The main reason I upgraded however - was that I couldn't get certain software to work with WM5 - but now it finally works under WM 6.1!
It took me 8 hrs to reinstall all my applications - it wasn't worth it for the relatively small increase in speed overall - but the 6.1 OS is stable, and the software I needed is working.
