Just thought I would mention that I had a similar problem to this and eventually found that all I had to do was delete the Windows sync from the Axim sync while it was not sync to the PC and then re-sync it with the PC. I have a x51v and XP PC with a newly installed Outlook 2007. I didn't realise at first I had to clear the Windows Sync from the Axim. It would sync the files prior to that but not any of the contacts or calendar stuff with Outlook. Hope that helps someone.
