thanks for your reply. I actually have done those things. Still, I cannot get it to sync. I reinstall office suite and that just gave me even more trouble.
I finally decided to reinstall Windows.
My hunch is maybe that my ipod is messing up with my sync as the new ipod touch can sync with the outlook.
