Hiya. I have the same configuration as you Fred (what a coincidence) .
nRoute is designed ONLY for laptops.
But Garmin Mobile XT only works with Garmin GPS receivers. There is no such thing as "Garmin Mobile 10", I think you meant Garmin GPS 10 (Which is a Bluetooth receiver): https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=272.
There is two ways you can use your CF-GPS with Garmin Mobile XT: One is legal and the other is not (I will not disclose the illegal way, as I am abiding by forum rules). The best way is to get GPSGate: GPS splitter, simulator and logger. Serial port splitter. - Franson GpsGate.
