Thanks for your input.

I was unable to change the attributes of the Oeminfo.xml file possibly due to the fact that this file is in ROM.

I guess that an activated version of MS Reader is something I will wish I had until MS decides that problem is worth correcting. Since this has been a problem for years, I'm simply not going to hold my breath.
