Sadly, I have no smartphone history. But hey, you never know, this context may remedy that!

My PDA History:
I started with the Palm IIIi, and couldn't believe that I could actually have my calendar in my pocket! The biggest surprise, however, was how handy it was to have my contacts as well. I did find the beastie pretty bulky, and within a year and a half had a Palm V. This is the time that I also really got going with third party apps.

The jump to color and the Dell Axim X5 was a great one. I loved the functionailty of the Pocket PC, plus all of the gadgets and gizmos you could add via the CF slot. It took me another year and a half to move to the Dell Axim x51v, which has been my faithful companion ever since. The most novel feature of this machine is the VGA out feature.

Hard to believe that my history is that short, given the number of years that I have been using a PDA...
