I should have posted here earlier, I covered this on a different thread so here it is. You should get it all to work great with this two step process. It was necessary for both the 3650 and the Mugen 4400. My guess is that you will be happy with the 3650 once this process is done. Let us know.
I too got the 3650 battery with the instant fall off back. It suckes, but a little piece of scotch tape on the seam of the back works great.
Well I can confirm that I went from 6 hours to 10+ hours of time on the 211 with the 4400 mAh battery from Mugen. I had a full day of work (8 hours) and the battery still shows 2 hours left.
To recap what I did thanks to advice received here. I installed the new Sp36920 from HP that is supposed to allow the use of extended batteries. It didn't work until I deleted (renamed) the file BATTDRVR.dll then did a soft reset. This regenerated the old version of the .dll . So I got the changes to the registry of the sp but used the old driver. Stupid, but it works.
Now when I use the 211 without running bluetooth all day I get 12+ hours.
