With a data connection of some sort (BT to cell phone)

You could get a data card for the CF slot (if there is such a thing), but it would require a cellular data plan.

All things aside, it CAN be done, but it is more trouble that it is worth. I say that because I did it myself for over a year, and it is just a PITA. Once I bought a converged device (AT&T 8525, 2 years ago) i couldn't believe how much nicer it was.

My suggestion is to buy an unlocked PPC phone that will work on your Carrier's data network, or if your plan is close to renewal, upgrade to a newer PPCPhone device. You can keep your Axim, as it is still an excellent machine, but once you go converged...
