Okay, I figured out how to prevent active sync from harassing me, but now I have another problem. I'm trying to install garmin software to my device. The problem arises when I connect my Fuze to my computer (running Vista Premium). I installed the software that came with it, and whenever the Mobility Center is up, it says that a device is not connected. The Garmin software also says there is no device connected. Now I unchecked the advanced networking button that seems to be the problem for most people, but I can't get my computer to recognize the device. It says installing device driver software each time I plug it in. Once it said PocketPC, but it never shows up that a device is connected. I'm using the USB wire to connect it and tried multiple ports. I would prefer to get it going though withtout any 3rd party software. Thanks
