That explains why you can install to you CF and then move it to your SD.

So, the simple answer is, Yes, a larger card will solve the problem untill you reach the point where it is nearly full again.
Many thanks BOX. This is pretty much what I expected.

The only problem is that here in the UK the largest SD cards I can find are 2 GB. I could get a 4 GB SDHC card but I don't know if my X50v could read it. Do you happen to know? Also do you know a supplier in the US or anywhere else who sells 4GB SD cards (not HC)?
