I guess I'm wondering what you mean by "I don't want to check email this way"? In theory Outlook would be the client, but hotmail/live.com would be the pop3 or imap4 servers for your MSN mail account. MSN actually uses hotmail servers anyway I believe, just that the msn.com domain name is aliased on the server.
